Partner profile:

The “Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per la Nanoelettronica” (IUNET, Italian Universities Nano-Electronics Team), is a non-profit, private Organization, aimed to lead and coordinate the effort of the major Italian University Teams in the field of Silicon Based Nanoelectronic Device Modeling and Characterization. They offer renown and complementary expertise in the field of modeling, simulation, design, characterization of electronic devices. IUNET Members have been involved several European-funded projects in FP6, FP7, in the ENIAC JU, and many other national projects. In the last three years, IUNET members published more than 100 Journal articles, more than 200 Conference reports, 21 IEDM papers. The research units involved in this project are the ones based at the Universities of Pisa, Bologna, Modena-Reggio Emilia, and Padua.

 

Main role in the project:

IUNET will participate in WP2, WP3, and WP5, focusing on design, modeling, characterization and testing of the micro-mirrors for technology demonstrators TD1 (pico- projectors) and TD2 (3D micro-scanners).
